Juan-Les-Pins, Cannes & Nice
Next on our Europe adventure was Nice. We were so excited to finally be able to see the gorgeous Ivory Coast with our own eyes. And let me tell you, it was even more beautiful then we expected. Leanne and I stayed in a cute little town outside of Nice called Juan-Les-Pins. Our hotel was great, and the staff were wonderful. If any of you ever visit, make sure you stay at Hotel St. Charles. It's really close to the train station and restaurants, as well as the beach. Overall, it's much quieter than Cannes or Nice and very relaxing :) Apparently there is a good nightlife scene, but we weren't really comfortable doing that so far away from home! Anyways, we arrived in the afternoon of May 21st, so we had the whole afternoon to kill. We went and explored the boardwalk and sat on the beach. It was really gorgeous and an amazing experience.
On our second day, we decided to take the train into Nice-Ville. The shopping was fantastic, like a dream come true. The suitcase I had brought with us was not big enough, so I splurged and bought a Louis Vuitton duffel. Everytime I go away somewhere, I HAVE to buy something designer hehe. It's just my thing. Finally, we arrived at the beach.. It was like no other. The water was bluer than Chris Pine's eyes hehe. It was absolutely breathtaking. We sat on the beach for a while, but the only complaint I have would be the rocks. There was no sand in Nice. It hurt our feet and made it difficult to swim :(
I wish we had have stayed a little bit longer in the South of France. Our last day was spent in Cannes. The film festival was going on, but unfortunately we didn't see any celebs. We did a lot of walking and some more shopping. We bought quite a few goodies. I found the most amazing leather jacket from Pull & Bear. It was like a cheaper version of Zara. I'm obsessed. I would definitely recommend anyone to go to the Mediterranean. I would go back in a heart beat.
These are my BEST photos from Nice. They don't even do the real thing justice though! Enjoy friends :)
Well, there you have it! I sincerely hope you guys enjoyed all of the photos :) Next up, Roma!
